Our team celebrated New Year's Eve right, with sparkling grape juice, hats and decorations, noisemakers, and Milano cookies! As Cherish Goldman, Life Enrichment Coordinator, passed out New Year’s Eve snacks, Richard, a resident at Covenant Living at Windsor Park asked, “Now what capacity do you work in?” She showed him her badge and asked him what he thought the life enrichment coordinator does. He responded with, “You enrich lives.” She let him know that sometimes their positions are called Activity Directors but that she’s learned to embrace the life enrichment term, because it refers to spiritual, physical, intellectual, social, and emotional/health that we enrich. Meet Jill! A Registered Nurse in Assisted Living and Memory Care at Covenant Living at Windsor Park, Jill has worked at our community for almost nine years. “When I am interacting with residents, helping staff and caring for others, I feel lit up and energized. [Windsor Park] is a nice place to come and give to others and work with so many people that you observe are also using their gifts. It feels like it’s a great concerted effort.
