Residents and staff had a wonderful time at our recent Annual Community Picnic. We welcomed about 600 residents, employees, and their families on a beautiful sunny day! Attendees enjoyed hot dogs and hamburgers, salads, watermelon, popcorn, and ice cream. Our dunk tank was a huge hit - Executive Director Ben Stevens was in it for the first time this year! We had games such as bag toss, bocce ball, badminton, frisbees, giant Jenga and Connect Four, and an inflatable slide. Guests also enjoyed the balloon artist and meeting comfort dog, Eve, who was happy to greet everyone too.

This award recognizes the efforts of some passionate residents and Facilities Maintenance staff to create earth-friendly planting areas that conserve water, utilize native plants, and provide habitats for native pollinators and wildlife.
Jim gave a short presentation of the certificate and what had to be done to earn it to a group of about 40. He called Windsor Park “an exemplary community” for our efforts to preserve and protect our property with environmentally-friendly landscaping. Then a group of 25 took a hike outside to watch Jim install a landscape marker in one of our native-plant landscape areas. ... See moreSee less
