EVENT FULL: Bound for the Promised Land: Harriet Tubman, Portrait of an American Hero with Author Kate Clifford Larson
February 19 @ 1:30 pm

From growing up as a slave on Maryland’s Eastern shore, to freeing enslaved peoples as an agent of the Underground Railroad, Harriet Tubman’s life is explored by Kate Larson in the first adult biography of her since 1948. Kate will be here sharing more of Tubman’s heroic and courageous story, which includes her roles as an activist and caretaker in the years that followed the Civil War.
Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and to honor the bravery of first responders, service members, and everyday heroes who answered the call.
At Covenant Living, we reflect with gratitude, reverence, and unity — never forgetting the strength and resilience shown on that day and in the years since.
