At Windsor Park, we recently came together to reflect on an incredible story of faith and courage. This year marks the 90th anniversary of the martyrdom of John and Betty Stam, missionaries in China who were tragically killed for professing their faith. Their story—and the miraculous survival of their baby, Helen Priscilla—made headlines around the world in 1934 and inspired a generation to pursue mission work.

Resident Ray Smith, whose parents were missionaries in China at the time, added a personal touch by sharing photos and stories from his family’s experiences.
It was a moving and unforgettable afternoon, reminding us of the strength of faith and the impact one story can have on generations. ... See MoreSee Less
